Here are the supplies needed and my tips for how to do this project:
Materials Needed
- Rolling Pin
- Craft Paper
- Wax Paper
- Foam Shapes
- Paint
- Paint Brush
How to Make Your Rolling Stamp
I started by wrapping my rolling pin safely in wax paper. I didn't want to paint my rolling pin- I'd need it for baking later! ;)
Then I hot-glued the foam shapes to the wax paper on the rolling pin.
Stamping Your Wrapping Paper
Ken helped the girls spread white paint onto the shapes with a large paint brush.
Be careful not to make it too globby or your shapes won't show up very well.
Ken helped them take turns rolling the homemade "stamp" over some brown craft paper.
After a few turns, we had a nice big roll of homemade "snowflake" wrapping paper.
Such a fun project, & the result was so cute! :)
