We had been given the challenge to throw a little celebration and to show our #DisneySide! Disney & Mom Select sent us some party supplies to host our party and we got to work preparing & enjoying the fun!
The girls were excited when we started blowing up balloons & soon they figured out how to turn them into Mickey-shaped balloons :) When the guests arrived, the kids sat down to a snack and to decorate some Disney cookies! :)
It was lunch time, so we got to work making our own pizzas with different toppings brought by our guests. We bought our crusts ready-to-bake, but if we had been making our own, we totally would have made them shaped like a Mickey head!
Our party package came complete with Disney party dishes, napkins, and fun hanging decorations! It also came with a few recipes for Disney treats & I knew right away that I wanted to try making the famous Dole Whip! (It was delicious!)
We couldn't have a party without party games, so we played a few creative duck-duck-goose games (changing the animal names) which was a blast for the younger kids and lots of fun for the parents to join in, too! (look, I'm making an appearance on the blog- can you find me? ;) We also played a Disney bingo game that was included in our package (with fish crackers for markers).
You know I love to throw an elaborate party that involves lots of time and planning, but this time I just didn't have the time! (February was such a busy month for me!) I had dreams of (and even a pinterest board full of ideas for) a Frozen themed Disney party, but those will just have to wait for another occasion! That being said, this just goes to show you how easy it can be to throw a party with a Disney theme! We had a lot of fun and I'm glad we made it happen! :)
Thanks go out to Disney, Mom Select, HP, American Tourister and all the other sponsors for helping make this party possible!

ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a great party! Homemade Dole Whips? Win :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun party, love the Mickey balloons. We had pretzels as our markers for Bingo but I think there was more eating than marking. I could see the same happening with the goldfish crackers. Thanks for sharing your #DisneySide with us!
