These PlasmaCars arrived on our doorstep in boxes one morning just as the girls were leaving for school and they were SO EXCITED! They didn't know we were getting them, so it was a total surprise to them and I wish I had been ready with my camera to record their reaction because it was priceless!
Ken and I put them together while the girls were at school (it was pretty easy to do- only a few steps involved). When they got home from school they couldn't wait to try them out (you've never seen a girl make her school lunch so fast- these things are great motivation). As soon as lunches were made for the next day, they were off!
Have you seen or tried a PlasmaCar before? To make them move, you just move the handles side-to-side. You can reverse or turn by turning the handle. If you're on a slight hill, you can get some pretty good speed going, too. ;)
The girls rode their cars into the park where a bunch of neighbourhood kids were playing and you should have seen them swarm to the cars! Every kid (even teenagers) wanted a turn! I had to wait for my turn, but you better believe I had one! (These cars support up to 220 lbs)
We also tried taking the cars to the gym at our church building and it was really fun to ride the PlasmaCars on a smooth, even floor- they just glide! We had a lot of fun making up different races and laughing with each other.
We took some video but somehow we ended up with more shots of ME using the PlasmaCar than Katrina (how embarrassing ;) Oh well, here it is:

ReplyDeleteThis yea we have tied panning for gold which was a blast and we also like to look for gem stones. They both require a lot of hiking through the woods which we enjoy.

ReplyDeleteOur favorite place to go is to the local reservoir. It is so beautiful there and lots to do! We walk trails, play disc golf, fish, bbq, or simply just play on the playground equipment! It is the perfect family outing because it is truly fun for the whole family!
